Not just for me roast spuds, oh no, here’s a selection of herbs that I purchased cheap from the supermarket and Homebase and planted into pots to make my summer meals a bit greener. So, here’s the little herb garden I made in my backyard, convenient for potential home moves
Today was the first day in ages when I didnlt have to work, meet someone, be somewhere, or do something. A whole day – it was fabulous! So, after a nice beauty sleep, I took myself into town to the Aladdin’d cave of Boyes, then on to several other fine provincial town outlets. I found out it is now easier to buy a new mobile than replacement bags for my vacuum cleaner, and although I found them int he end, I picked up a beige 400 count sheet and a guitar stand on the way.. oops. Still no mobile … dreaded TMobile making it impossible to leave, citing waiting times of 1 hour at customer services – apparantly, the only way out. Can you imagine now how difficult getting vacuum bags was?
I am having my doubts now about potting them in two’s but they looked so lonely, just on their own in a big pot. We shall see. If they don;t like it, they shall be swiftly replace by more compliant herbs

Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) is a perennial, native to the Midwestern and Southeastern United States. Flowers are arranged individually on, elongated single stems with purple petals that surround an iridescent red-orange coned center. The flowers can be used to make herbal tea that supposedly strengthens the immune system. Purple Coneflower attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
